  • I'd get OW to beat the price. Win for buyer

  • Seems to be out of stock online, and don't know if physical stores will sell at that price considering their new catalogue is advertising the phone at $199 only when you purchase a $50 recharge (see http://catalogues.bigw.com.au/portal/offerdetails/htc_wildfi…)

    Its still too much for that screen resolution&size. Wake me up when it's $99.

      Why don't you wake up a htc wildfire phone with a 5mp camera for $99

      • +4

        what does that mean
        wake up a..htc wildfire phone?
        using a 5mp camera?
        ….to earn $99?

          dude just buy alarm clock at $2 shop more cheaper

          "Why don't you wake up? A htc wildfire phone with a 5mp camera for $99?!"

          punctuation ftw

    • I don't think it compares. The no name phone's screen size etc look good at first but 416Mhz CPU is glacier slow, the 2mp camera is a joke and the specs don't mention 3g / 3.5g / hsdpa / umts so it's not utilising the optus 3g/'yes'g or telstra nextg networks. I stopped reading after a quick look at the specs. Its a knock off piece of crap, whereas the HTC is from a respected global phone manufacturer.

    • wow 4.3" 320x480 screen. pixels galore.

  • To unlock it costs additional $100 from telstra as it is a 3G handset. Consider this when locking in your network options.

  • How does this compare to the Hawei Ideos U8150 for $99 from Crazy Johns ?

  • the new HTC Wildfire S is coming relatively soon hence why you are seeing many stores having this phone on special (especially in the last few weeks or so).

    Fortunately unlike the old wildfire in this deal, the Wild Fire S 'finally' has a decent screen resolution of 480x320 not to mention a faster processor, ram and gingerbread.
