      Good for gopro but you might have a hard time seeing the screen. Check the weight of the S9 might be too much from memory.

      It’ll have no issues with the S9. It has a max load of 240g. There’s a heap of YouTube videos showing it working perfectly with the Note 9 even.

      The position of the cameras on the s9 make the gimbal visable in the video.
      The work around is to hold it in a flashlight like manner or zoom in.
      I ditched it as I didn't like it with the s9.

    Great price. I was looking at phone gumbals for hiking, however they are quiet heavy when you have a pack already full of stuff. I ended up going an insta360 one x. It filled the spot between phone EIS video and my dedicated video camera (V770M). The one x gets some crazy shots!

      I think it works but covers the screen. You can buy adapter plates but probably messes with the balance

        Thanks. Seems it expired anyway. I might just go with the gimbal designed for the camera as it is only about $20 more and I won't have to worry about an adapter or balance issues (which I hadn't thought about). Much appreciated.

          I have the same dilemma. I own the Mijia and had previously looked at the dedicated gimbal. It's far and away the best gimbal for the Mijia but I quite often use my iPhone to film (especially in low light) and a universal gimbal is better suited.

          Just can't pull the trigger either way lol.

    I know it says that the gimbal can handle a max weight of 240g,but honestly it struggles with my s8+. Any angle greater than about 30 degrees and it falls over.

      Lots of videos on YouTube show it working absolutely fine with the Note 9, which is 20 - 25 grams heavier than the S8+.
