Woolies Petrol have been trying to get rid of these since we were allocated them forever ago.

If you're not fussed about the credit (which has long since expired) and for whatever reason want one of these, they're $5.80 at Woolies Petrol.

If they were wireless instead of USB oh boy I woulda bought them all myself, haha.

    • That sounds like a good way to test optus 4g speed.

      Oh but need data.

      • Yeah. Not sure about other stores, but the data that came with ours expired in November, making them even more impossible to sell, haha.

    • Caltex? 5.80? I want it, how do I find it

      • Caltex Woolies yeah. (Well, as of tomorrow we're under new ownership finally but that doesn't matter.)

I don't have a way to check stock values at stores other than my own, but could always give your local store a look/call if you're interested. We don't even display ours any more, but if someone asked I'd bloody well find 'em quicksmart.

        • I’m in Hamilton 4007 anything nearby would be great I’ll buy a couple thanx a lot

        • Are you sure its all stores? I called up Moorabbin and Cheltenham, and neither of them had anything close. In fact both of them seemed perplexed at the thought of it.

@outlander: They might be stores lucky enough to have sold through their stock forever and a day ago. No idea.

My store is very small, we don't sell Sim cards let alone the phones and modems we get allocated. It sucks.

  • Bought this instead a couple of weeks back as a back up to my main 4g WiFi modem and for an extra $10 it means you do t have to have it plugged in to a laptop.

My mother in law has been taking it out and about as she is from Ireland and doesn't have a sim so it's perfect for calling and messaging through what's app.

      Simlock removal 2$ on ebay

      • I bought an unlock code for $1.50, but when it came down to it I didn't need it. It worked with both telstra and vodafone sims.

        This unit is factory unlocked

Its sold out at this price for officeworks, but target has them currently for $19

    • I bought one from Officeworks last week and the sim expires 12/2020 and even though it’s branded Optus in the GUI worked with both Optus and Telstra SIMS.

  • ahh that CAT 4 goodness :(

  • Good on Officeworks to limit it to 3 per person, you don't want Broden to clean it up

  • Sadly bought 2 from K-mart last week for $19 each

  • Thanks bought one of these to use in my Asus DSL-AC68U in dual wan fail over mode.

  • Price has changed back to $39 on their website.
