I was just looking for a cheap 32" + Full HD TVs and this came up

There will be another one from Target (LED back-lit model) starting in a few days

I don't know the quality of the AWA brand.
If I could afford the money I would go Samsung or Sony
Otherwise, why not? this is still Full HD

For those who needs a cheap Full HD TV!!

  • I owned one for the same price but bought year ago with 1080i. I would say I'm very happy with it's quality at that price, plus 3 years warranty a definite peace of mind.

    • I believe if it can only support up to 1080i, it is an HD

The thing is Target is bringing out LED one for $399 in 3 days LOL

I would disagree on the PQ, My parents have the same Panel. Was at their place on Sat night watching football and it was not pleasurable viewing. If you can afford it, spend the extra cash on a better quality unit, you will be glad you did.

Yeah if I had the cash to spend, I'll definitely get either Samsung or Sony.
Sony is slightly better with colours

Anyway this is only a cheapo TV

The 6.5ms response time & slow processing behind the screen make this an almost unusable TV for anything other than an extra screen in the garage or kitchen.

I don't know the quality of the AWA brand.

"Amalgamated Wireless (Australasia) Ltd (AWA) was Australia's largest and most prominent electronics organisation undertaking development, manufacture and distribution of radio, telecommunications, television and audio equipment throughout most of the 20th century."

Now in the 21st century, is is just a badge applied to Chinese products for a small fee. Sad. Consider it home-brand for Big-W.
With a 3 year warranty, I'd consider it.
