      FWIW having not known much about down jackets, when I was looking at options many of the better rated ones are 3x, 4x the price or higher. At $99 it’s cheaper than Uniqlo which is generally considered a sound to cheap option, and reports are it’ll be warmer than that.

      So yes, might not be the best out there but for the price it probably is well worth it.

      Something to keep in mind for reviews but when reading about these the use cases are really varied from people somewhere like Brisbane where a cold day is single digits to people doing trips to places that are minus 20 or 30. Not saying reviews aren’t relevant, they are, but look at what’s being said and not just scores since the users will have very different needs.

    Just walked past the store and picked one up. On sale until Tuesday. Feels warm and definitely need one size down.

    I checked the sizes today, compared against Lathmandu. The men’s are definitely a size down, whereas women’s seem to be the same.

    Received mine yesterday, thanks OP. Tried out size at macpac, did not hv the magenta colour that I wanted ordered a Size 10 online, fits perfect! No need to order size down for ladies.
