[NSW] Hi-Chews 55.2g $1, Lotte Ghana Chocolate 50g $1 @ Miniso

110

Miniso is having a $1 sale for Hi-Chews (strawberry, grape, lemon and green apple) and Lotte Ghana Chocolate varieties.

Hi-Chews are a Japanese fruit chew candy, and are the original and tastier version of Mentos Chews.

Ghana is a brand of chocolate manufactured originally in Japan, and now Korea. Apparently tastes pretty smooth.

Usually see both products for a couple of dollars, so thought it was a good deal. Expiry dates were around 05/2019 and 06/2019 for the products.

I want to note that despite what they may say, I would not consider these 'healthy'.

If anyone says these are healthy , they are lying as bad as a politician

    But they do taste awesome

    • they are lying as bad as a politician

I used to call politicians stupid until I realised that they'd won and I'm the moron dealing with the consequences such as losing money through privatisation and paying tax at a higher rate than Qantas.

    • Miniso's milk caramel is delicious too

Most likely store specific, as they are close to expiry.

I checked Miniso Galleries and Miniso World Square, and they were both running the deal. So far not store specific from my understanding. Both stores did have similar expiry dates for the products though.

    It says 1 star healthy…

  • Same/similar prices to Japan. Not good chocolate IMO.

    • I thought it was pretty good for the price. It's no Whittakers of course.

  • It's not unhealthy if you only eat like 1 piece a day but doesn't mean it's healthy either
