Got the email today and as the title says buy 1 base layer and get 3 for $69.99 or $55.98 for members (membership is free)

Not sure if this is a good deal and there may be some base layers available cheaper at other places but I think this is a good deal for Kathmandu.

    i think it would be clearer if the deal said - "buy 1, get 2 free" OR JUST "buy 3 for the price of 1"

      Not sure how this works to be honest. May be try buying 3 different sizes and it calculates price of 1 at checkout?

      Edit:

      I just tried selecting 3 different sizes and it recalculated to $69.98 and NO shipping too. Image attached!

    I buy 2 set sleeping for kids for $24 free shipping to their shop (discount price is $20 a piece). Actually I used to buy the same set for my kid last year for $20 a set (not $20 a piece as they are currently now on their website)
    Total 3 set of sleeping for me too, it's $44 all included

    I got the 3 for 1 base for $20 - two leggings and a top! In-store it scans at $30, so make sure you direct them to the Website price.

    Looking at getting some base layers. Can't decide between the $20 or $60 ones. Is there much difference, other than the fact I can buy 3x as many of the cheaper ones? Will primarily be using them for hikes.

      in my experience, i found polypro material to be a bit scratchy, for me at the arm seams. Its really elastic and will shrink and expand with wash and wear
      The ultracore/KMD motion feel more like cotton and so are comfortable and have odour control. Over time mine has lost this trait, although i did wear it daily backpacking through Europe so i put it through the ultimate stress test. These will remain the same size, so don't depend on them shrinking to hug and wick your skin - i suggest trying them on to get a snug fit

      I'm not a fan of polypro. They feel really tight. But for $20, it's not going to break the bank to try a set.

      They used to have a range called Thermaplus which was better than Polypro.

    Trying to get the $20 ones but when I put 3 into the shopping cart it says the discount is applied and comes out at $29.94? Shipping price not included, am I doing something wrong?

      no they seem to have changed the pricing on that one because it was already on sale. It was buy 3 for $20 for the first few hours before they fixed it up and now its 3 for $29.98.

    Membership is $10 and the membership discount does not apply to the 3 for 1 deal. Members pay $55.98 for one, or $69.98 for 3.

    So after asking the Ms if she needed any for our upcoming trip 2 months away she said no. Now the sale is over she 'desperately' needs these for our trip…..

    Anyone with an idea/crystal ball if these or similar sale will be on soon?
