$19 for a screen protector?!?!!

Picked up a Sony HX90V from the recent deal. Reading some feedback many say the screen scratches easily.

These are around $25 everywhere else. $19 shipped was the cheapest I could find, meh. Pretty good deal if buying more than one.

Officially fits:
RX1
RX1R
RX10
RX100
RX100M2
RX100M3

Also fits, according to internet:
HX series
RX100 4 and 5

expensive but great lens protector and also great to protect camera sensor from dust

These are screen protectors for the back of the camera, not lens protectors for the front of the camera.
They are not designed to protect the camera sensor from dust.

Actually if you stick onto camera sensor I guarantee no dust will get on sensor

  • Ebay film screen protectors do the job at a fraction of the $

Ok lost everything I posted twice. $3.48 from AliExpress.

    Deerekin or something brand.

  • I have one of these on my RX100. It scratched up like crazy. But I guess it's done it's job and protected the screen…

Only buy if you want your friends to ask you why your screen is so scratched up.

You could change it or get a glass one for $3.48+GST.

      • Yeh I could, but it doesn't bother me so no need to spend anymore money.

  • close. i need the PCK-LM16

  • Sony’s used to, and perhaps still do, come with some form of screen protection layer on and that’s what got scratched on my ones. It was a hell of a job getting the factory one off, but it did come off and then applied a nice new glass one.

When I got a Nex 6 I put a protector on over the factory one straight away which seemed a great idea, but when I replaced that the Sony one had still somehow ‘gone wrong’ underneath. So again needed to remove the factory one.
