  Jackou, can you confirm that it is really 4 x 2.4A, as claimed?
  I find it hard to believe it really is 9.6A capable, since many of these products are closer to half of that rating.

    On the pictures it says that it's 3.4A total, if I'm understanding the boxed text above the USB ports correctly.

      Exactly; 3.4A total clearly isn't 2.4A per port. That isn't even 1A per port.

      The bullet points in the Amazon description also mention;

        3.4A total output. same bullshit charger/adaptor as 90% of others.
