Hot & Spicy is finally back (for non QLDers). Was an app exclusive last week and now it's available in-store.

Box includes:

  • 1 Piece Boneless Hot & Spicy
  • 1 Original Tender
  • 1 Regular Chips
  • 1 Regular Potato & Gravy
  • 1 Dinner Roll.

Things to note:

  • A regular drink can be added for $1.
  • Original tender can be swapped to a baked tender.
  • Chips can be upsized for $1.60 (better value if you just bought an additional large chips for $2)
  • Don't forget the free survey chips and drink since this just meets the minimum spend of $4.95

    I hope you are right. In tassie last week we just had the non spicy fill up. Just checked app and no mention of hot and spicy. There is a new product called spicy jumbo drums for $2.

        The zinger fillet is bigger and has a layer of skin

        For me, zingers are good for a mild chilli hit but hot and spicy specifically is moreish

        Just had it now. It was more like half a burger fillet.

        That said, a burger alone is $8.95 and this entire "meal" was $4.95 (with the survey chips & drink of course) so nothing to complain about for value.

      I can't believe some people have to put up with this. My past 17 years living in Perth, every KFC store I've been to has hot and spicy all year round. I ain't eating KFC if its not hot and spicy!

      I think it's harder for some stores to cater for than others, due to space and demographic. Then if it doesn't sell within 1 hour(????), it's disposed of.

    I am in QLD and ordered this on the app a few days ago. The "H&S Boneless Piece" tasted like zinger to me. I'm pretty sure Hot and Spicy was a different product, at least when it came out 20 years ago. Maybe KFC retconned it and we have always been at war with Eastasia. Can someone else confirm that H&S was different before Zinger.

      Yeah I have memories of Hot and Spicy being different when it came out too - being much hotter & spicier. My mates always tell me I'm remembering wrong when it comes up in conversation though.

    I recently made the Texas friend chicken…had to YouTube buttermilk as American use that a lot in their marinate.

    Save you guys time it's = milk and fresh lemon And there is no butter lol

      Some Asian Grocers sell some 1KG powder blends for @ $6 to 8. Far better value than Tandaco, from the duopoly. They fdo a Southern Fried version, as well as Korean fried chicken. Brand I think it Beksul or Ottogi.

      Buttermilk (available from Aldi, & the evil duopoly) has a different texture compared to making your own.

      Well it’s really the whole point of fast food, they make it for you in a convenient place and only a few minutes wait, sometimes instant food service.

      Cooking it yourself you need a kitchen, the ingredients, and the time and effort to cook it.

      Its real hot and spicy. The chicken is a mix of dark and white meat.

      Zinger fillets are a bit different and are all breast.

    So for those in Victoria. Went into KFC Victoria Gardens Richmond which was the only place where you could get hot n spicy all year around. They've announced they've stopped doing that now and will just have the original recipe.

    Tough times, guess I'll have to settle for boneless hotnspicy now!!
