Great price for the game. It's $99.95 AUD on Steam so this is close to 50% off. Importantly it's not the Bethesda launcher version but the Steam version of the game. This deal has been updated, product will be activated on the Bethesda platform.

  • Nice! Didn’t realise they did a backflip on their Bethesda launcher debacle.
I assume so at least as Steam page states 14th May release.

  • Er … isn't this game going to be ~$60 when it actually launches?

  • Did anyone buy this and can confirm it is indeed a Steam key?

    • Has Steam as the platform on the product page. You won't get a key until it's released.

  • I think its 66$ at HN for PC physical

    • That will be the Bethesda version though, if you want it on Steam (like I do and many others) that won't be unfortunately.

      • Thanks for the heads-up, I totally forgot about the Bethesda launcher since I skipped fallout 76. I think long term publishers having their own launcher will HOPEFULLY mean better prices.

        • As if. It will just mean their margins get bigger in the short term. And less competitive pricing if they decide to only sell via their own shop (or control pricing on other platforms too much)

Publishers should not be allowed to distribute directly when it comes to digital content. Physical isn't so bad (prices will decrease as inventory needs to be cleared)

          • @justtoreply: This is the most likely scenario by the looks of it (epic, Bethesda, ubi)

  • Unfortunately, I recently found out that if you purchase this game when it was listed as steam platform, they will no longer honour that promise and will only give u a Bethesda key for Bethesda launcher. Had to cancel my pre order because of that. Disappointing.

    • Disappointing - ruins their retail sales, just like ubisoft… I'd rather spend a lil extra to get it on steam. :/
