      I've used Sheridan for 15 years, so I'm a bit biased. My current towels have been in use for over 10 years, ans still soft and thick, so well worth it.

        Which towel "model" do you have? I have had many Sheridan towels throughout the years. Whilst the quality is great, none of them I would call "soft". I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I tried washing them with/without fabric softener, made no difference. I always dry them in a dryer because hanging them out to dry makes them even rougher. Recently I tried the "ultra light dry" kind, and that's much softer than my other ones, but it seems to be prone to losing its little "threads" (not sure what they're called), so one must be very careful not to snag it.

          You should never use fabric softener with towels as it coats the towels and prevents them from absorbing water properly.

          To restore your towels, wash them with vinegar in place of detergent and then air dry. When the towels are about 80-90% dry, put them into the dryer on a low heat setting to finish drying them. The dryer makes them soft again.

          Thereafter, wash your towels with regular detergent, and put vinegar into the fabric softener drawer during a wash cycle.

      I am not sure about their other towel ranges, but I have been using their Ryan range for the last three or so years and it's the best towel I have ever used. I bought more whenever they went on sale and still have 4 unopened.

      Great towels which will last forever, just make sure you stick to the 100% cotton, "normal" ranges - Ryan is fine - avoid the new technology like "ultra light dry".

        Ultra Light Dry is great if your bathroom doesn't get much sunlight. Towels dry much quicker. Despite being in Brisbane, apart from Summer, my towels can stay damp all day, unless I hang them in a different part of the house.

      I have used two different codes and neither has worked for me. I only wanted to buy two face towels (not sure if that small amount had anything to do with the codes not working) and would have saved about $1.80 so went ahead without the code.

    Ordered a queen size sheet set and a new set of towels. Selected CnC in fortitude valley (qld). 45 mins later they cancelled my order, assuming they don’t have something in stock. Refund takes 10 days so have had to re-order. Might be an idea to call the store and confirm stock before selecting click and collect to avoid this situation for yourself!

      I have the ANSWORTH 300TC QUILT COVER SET. It is reduced to $77.99 for queen, great price. It is a lovely soft fabric. The only thing I do not like are the plastic studs on it to close the opening. You have to be very careful when ironing as they do melt. Unfortunately many brands now seem to use them.
