I just did that just then. It must be sold out in only some states.

  • Did I miss out? I am seeing $297.00

  • crap,

    it is $297 now

  • Crap! I hope they honour it for those of you who got it for $199.

  • I hope they honour, cos I ordered 2!!!

  • Me too! I ordered one… fingers crossed! :D

  • Does everyone think Officeworks will honour it? Does anyone have any experience with something like this. Can a agreement to sell (contract) be terminated unilaterally?

    Alan

  • Better check your bank/credit statement.. This is the reply from one user from Whirlpool forum:

[" I just ordered 2 of them, in the basket it said $199 each but just checked my bank details and I have been charged $597.95, don't know what the hell is going on. "]

  • yep, seem to have charged the full price on my credit card. Bummer, will call and cancel…maybe..

  • I was charged $202.95, which is $199 + $3.95 handling fee. Does that mean it's through? Can Officeworks revoke the transaction?

    Alan

    • When they had the 2TB error, they honoured that. I think Officeworks are good like that.

  • Ok, sorry about the previous post, it maybe incorrect. I need to see what transactions come up on my card statement as the figures don't add up!!.

  • They usually honor the orders just like they did with the 2TB. Too bad I missed out! :(

  • I got to credit card payment, and then it said your session has been terminated, please re-login (only got to post now as i dont have my ozbargain password at work).

    I'm very disapointed :(

  • Ive been charged $401.95.. which is for two.. So looks like they are going to honor it now that they have charged for it.

  • Just checked credit card, charged $202.95. Awesome.

  • Already received my hard drive, and I only paid $199 + $3.95 Handling. Thanks eshan!
    Alan

  • lucky :(

  • Yep, got mine too, $199 + $3.95 Handling

  • Yay! It just arrived, and I paid $199 + $3.95 handling :D

  • Ordered mine on Thurs and it arrived on Fri :)
Snagged mine for $199 as well!

  • My local store had these with a ticket of $249, but was out of stock.

Not as good as $199, but better than the HN offer ($268). Looks like the RRP may have dropped.

  • Did you guys all get the 1TB unit? On the print brochure, the 750GB is listed as $199 - probably where the typo came from originally. Just wanted to know if you guys got the 1TB for $199.

    • Yeah it's the 1TB one and not the 750GB one.

    • I can also confirm I received the 1TB that I paid $202.95 for :)

  • hmm mine says estimated delivery of friday.. but havent shown up yet :(

  • Now $249 at Officeworks online and in stores… still not as good as $199 though! ;)

  • no longer valid

  • Dont be sorry because they fixed it. You let us know and some could get a good deal - I think thats fair. no one can complain about the deal itself. They could be upset because they missed it, but it was a deal when you posted it. thanks!!!

  • Its now $249. So just gotta find that extra $52 to get it.

  • I agree with OzPete - there seem to be a few members very quick to hit the negative button - funnily enough I dont see many bargains being brought to our attention from the same members….

  • Now I wonder what 1TB gets recognised as once formatted? 750GB??!

    :-p

    Just jealously setting in….!
