  • Oreo Cream Cookies 137g - $1

    That is $7.30 per kg

Not bad for a cheap tasty snack honestly

Most chocolate stuff starts at around $9 per kg at the cheapest unless it is on a crazy sale

Premium stuff is usually $25 per kg minimum sometimes $20 per kg

    Price Per Unit Cost FTW

Never lets you down unless you like throwing money in the bin

    • Do you know the cost/kg of healthy fruit and veges that thoroughly?
I think of chocolate as cocoa flavoured sugar, much is > %50 sugar from memory.

Used to love dunking oreos, granitas etc. Now I'm on a carnivore elimination diet I am above the simple pleasures of taste.

Some of them but not all only my favourites.

Broccoli I aim for around $3 to $4.50/kg
Cauliflower I aim for around $3 to $4.50/kg
Eggplant I aim for around $4 to $6.50/kg
Potato I aim for around $0.40/kg to $2/kg
Peas I aim for around $3 to $3.50/kg
Sweet Pea I aim for around whatever it is at the moment honestly it is very seasonal or situational for me when sweet peas are good or whatever the long ones are called.
Corn I aim for around $3 to $3.50/kg
Carrots I aim for around $1 to $2.50/kg
Sweet Potato I aim for around $5/kg but it is a delicacy for me.
Spinach I aim for around $3 to $4.50/kg
Rice whatever is cheapest I rotate depending on what I am feeling but honestly we have rice for years at my place tbh.. same with some grains, certain oils, sauces, salts, spices, etc.

I hate string beans and most long types of beans.

Pumpkin is situational but I have a vague idea of when it is cheap and when it is not.

Banana's, Orange's and Apple's I just buy when I feel like it don't really look at the cost unless I am really low on cash money but housemates love all kinds of fruits so usually we just share that.

I have a mixed diet but yes I do have a healthy side and unhealthy side also mainly because I try to stupidly balance thing mostly but am trying to be more healthy overall and constantly.

Forgetting tomatoes here but honestly just whatever is cheapest at the time.

I love a good fried potato or eggplant dish and some stir fry broccoli/cauliflower/peas/corn/carrot is always good.

Oh yeah cucumber or zucchinis.. they are usually really cheap also so I don't track them often much.

Time to stock up on the Cocobella. Cheers.

    • Yes! Defo better than that other brand which was a little rancid smelling and tasting.

  • Will the cocobella also be discounted on their ebay store?
