    Can't see the deal but I have recently bought the Yamaha DAB+ Micro Hifi System w CD Player & iPod Dock for half of that listed price at Grays. It is a very good micro system.

        Underwater speakers do exist, but they are quite different to outdoor/weatherproof speakers!

    these puppies sell for around USD100 (in USA), so someone, somewhere, between manufacturer Yamaha and retailer eljo is still making quite a margin.

      Economies of scale dictates that distributors in America who order by the million allow prices in the USA to be much better than in Australia, where distributors order by the thousand, and some times even only by the hundred.

      It's one of the major reasons for discrepancies in many items, from speakers to furniture to clothing. It's an unfortunate downside of living in such a fantastic country as Australia.
