No, there are no timers to limit play. Gems are really cosmetic stuff or in game help. If you ask me gems are like cheat codes in this game, you buy it to make life easier but totally unnecessary
Bag of gems in app purchase. I’d rather pay for the game than be sucked dry

Crazy Defense Heroes is a Free-to-play grinder. Whereas this Kingdom Rush Frontiers is normally a paid game and is not a grinder.
From quickly reading the description of the game it seems that it includes a collectible card game element which is significant to the success of the game. I leave collectible cards to my children, so no thanks to this for me I'll stick with Kingdom Rush.

This game is awesome, it has microtransactions but they are purely for the lazy and not required for the game at all. The way they should be.
I've bought every game Ironhide studio has put out because they're always just excellent. What mobile games should really be like instead of the sea of shit ass pay to win and AFK games. These are genuinely fun, great art style, simple controls and extremely enjoyable. 100% recommend you download this bad boy.
