looks like perfect for me…. looking for some good quality SDHC cards, for archiving purposes….

    • +7

      If you're archiving, wouldn't a harddrive or dvd/bluray be a better option?

      • portable and easy to hide top secret stash of things ;)

        • top secret spy stuff or deviate things?

      • -3

Never archive with 1 type of media is one of the rules of archiving. I usually have a copy of all the photos enclosed in each album, in 2 types of media. One "good" DVD (not cheap stuff), and one SD Card (only written to once, then write protected). Then keep a copy on a portable hard drive, and on my desktop hard drive.

Redundancy is good, especially with technology changing so often, and things getting made in china, means quality is going down down and down. Don't risk your precious memories, with just 1 type of media!

the online pron storage revolution is coming

I usually watch and throw away so no need to archive pron, and if you do there is something called the internet

          Off Topic
I just remembered people buy the dvds as well, and they are not readily available online, but if you do want to want something pm the Name and year as well as the models and I'll hit you up with a link to it, I'm a member :D

  • Question: Can someone who has the knowledge clarify me on this.

I thought Class 6 meant 6mb/s whereas this is stated as 20mb/s?

  • What is the difference between this and the $10 one from Kmart?
