If lebara doesn't come up with better offer than will start losing customers. My almost 6 friends have posted to Boost.

    • this makes the deal little sweeter…my existing Lebara plan has still 2 months of validity left so will i get the upfront data bank bonus now or once my current plan expires and the new plan comes into effect?

      • +1

        Hi there,
You would receive the data bonus in your data bank as soon as the recharge goes through. Meaning, you won't have to wait for your current plan to expire to access your bonus data in the data bank.
        Hope this helps.

    https://www.lebara.com.au/data-boost-L ->For large Plan
    Expires : 10/05/2019

    • Link says it expires 15/05? The 10/05 is for ordering a sim online

  • +9

Boost is cheaper and better then Lebara with Telstra network.

  • +2

The $115 plan was for 99 back in Nov.

    • But it didn't have data bank?

  • +3

I was waiting for this. However, disappointed. Medium Plan for $115 and Large Plan for $145.
In the past, I have taken Medium Plan for $89 (5GB per month) and Large Plan for $99 (20GB per month).

The only difference now is much more data, and data-banking. However, I do not feel the costs are worth going for, given the Boost $135 @ Coles offer.

    • They also added more countries to the included list since the last deal towards end of last year. But agree, if you don't need the extra data the Boost offer (or others) is probably better, especially if a country you would make regular calls to is on the list.

Signed up with Lebara on the promos end of last year, switching to Boost using the $135 Boost voucher @ Coles last week.

      • Ditto!

  • -3

Lebara is crap. It uses Vodafone and even in certain metro parts in Tassie, it gets little to no signal. I wouldn't recommend. Switching to Boost after mine ends.

    • Yeah, Tassie, no signals in most parts with Optus or Voda, only Telstra.

  • +1

Can buy 2 in a row right and then line them up for recharge?

    • yup

    • hi there,
You can stack your lebara mobile plans upto 24 months.
Meaning, if you recharge it with 2x 180 day plans, you would not have to worry about recharging for the next 360 days.
      Hope this helps.

      • If I buy a Sim, then voucher, how long do I have before I need to activate the sim or voucher?

  • +1

Why is this so expensive? Are there other features not mentioned?

  • +4

Agreed with others, boost current $135 offer is much better choice.

  • I am interested to join Lebara because of the included international call minutes. I am currently with Kogan and they need to pay extra to make international calls. Any idea about Boost?

    • +1

Boost also has international calls, just their plans and critical summary.

      • Boost Unlimited international calls only applies to the following 10 countries: Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, United Kingdom and USA

        • +2

Thanks guys, I will go with Boost based on all your comments then :)

        • +3

That's wrong. The Boost $150 plan includes Japan, and the actual detail is: UNLIMITED INTERNATIONAL
standard calls & text to 25 selected destinations +1200 standard mins & text to 30 selected destinations

  • +2

Buahahaha pathetic, at this price you can almost have catch for 1 year with more data

  • +7

the 180days small plan was $49 last christmas

    • +3

      Yeah.
      Small = $49
      Medium = $89
      Large = $99

is what we were looking for, Lebara. Hope you are listening. Many of us are already moving to Boost.

      • +3

yes and ours is expiring end of the mth. Time to move on.

        • +1

Already bought the Boost Recharge voucher with umpteen discounts.
Coles + 5% Gift Card discount + Flybuys Points + Weekly Bonus Flybuys Points = $121.82 for 365 days with Unlimited International Calls, and 80GB (~ 6.67GB per month).

    • +2

I got this and ending this month.. looks like I also have to move to boost.. no nice deal..

  • +2

Mate, you need to fix the heading, you got the data amounts understated.

  • +1

Agreed… No deal here when compared to the competition. Also worth considering the current Catch deal

  • +2

I agree, my daughter needs the Small = $49 deal again or will be changing over to boost.

  • +1

Moving to Boost end of month

    • +2

Likewise. The replacement boost sim is here, if the plans was closer , I rather renew with Lebara; but Lebara plan is ~$50 worse off for a year. Boost plan isn't period limited either.

8 plus votes in 5 days is pretty telling

      • +1

I agree 100% Lebara isn't looking after their loyal customers with these below average not even good deals.Lebara used to be great but not so anymore. It's inevitable I think its time to move on by the looks of this

  • Hi there,

Thanks to all your love, we have decided to extend the promo until 31st May.

    Thanks

    Team Lebara!

    • +3

How about just giving us existing loyal customers a real deal instead of this half arse discount……………or is it time for us to move forward to a much better deal??????

      • Lebara can't even be bothered replying to a more than loyal customers comment ???? seriously what the hell Outthere??????

      • Thanks for your feedback.
We will forward it to the concerned team.

        • +1

Look mate its taken you 22 days to reply to my comment on a deal that was put up here by you and then you tell me this?????
What a total clown you are mate…..seriously

    • Hi, could you please confirm how much time we have to activate the SIM once purchased? There is no expiry date mentioned and Lebara Chat support each time mentions a new story - 60 days / 75 days / 90 days.

      What is correct?

      • Hi djoz,

You need to activate the SIM pack within 60 days from the date of purchase.

You can also get the current promotion by recharging with the Small180, Medium180 or Large180 plans before 21st june 2019.

Please call us at 126122 should you require any assistance with the recharge or activation.

  • +1

Website shows expiry date as 11/6/19, from previous stated 31/5/19. Must be getting a slow uptake.

    • +1

      I'm not surprised mate

  • Lebara have now introduced international roaming but I cannot make sense of how it works. Has anyone used this? I called them and they told me I can receive sms for free while I am overseas but need to pay for calls. They said I will receive a notification for a missed call if someone tries to call me while I am overseas and I have no credit on my account.

    • Hi there,

Our international roaming services are now available at over 50 destinations. Please see if the country you are visiting supports Lebara international roaming or not. (link below)

international roaming also provides free incoming text messages.
However, if you are planning on making calls/ sending out text messages please choose from one of the plans from the link below:

      https://www.lebara.com.au/mobile-plans/roaming

      hope this helps.

      • Hi Outthere, could you please let me know what happens if I do not activate the SIM within 60 days of Online Order date? I want to extend the date a bit, please .Is it posible?

Please send us a private message along with the numbers on the SIM pack and our team will be able to assist you further.
