  • is the game any good?

    • Personally, I think it's well worth a play.

    Cheers.. thanks for that.. :)

    Cool, free game!
I've played worse games than this.
    Thanks!

Cool, 0.50c trade in value too! If we collect enough of these free games, maybe we can actually buy a real game?

    • Baha. Unlikely.

      • No - really - if you sign up and stick around, you'd almost certainly be able to buy a full game sooner or later!

  • Can this be activated through steam, or do we have to use that capsule client?

    • It's a Capsule game :)

      • OK cheers

So have to install another program to download?
I already have Steam, EADM, GFWL, I don't want another one.

        • Agreed. DRM is bad enough but then companies slap us in the face with 10 different wrapper programs.

      • there is no end to the roads…..awesome!!
        nice video clip found.

Wack, Kaspersky is picking up the capsule program as a virus. Pretty certain it's a false positive, but I went so far as to download a previous version which wasn't 'infected' and try to update it - but that still downloaded the file KIS didn't approve of. I havn't used this site before anyone wanna vouch for them that I am getting a false positive? Is it possible their latest release was infected by other groups?

  • Necro…vision. Come on you could have used a better name than that

  • WTH! I just completed the game download, went to launch it, and now it needs to download 3.4 GBs again?

  • .

  • hmm.. Said 3.4GB when I went to bed (only thing running) and woke up to find almost 7GB of usage over night.

Just installed it and its fun.

Thanks very much for providing this freebie.

cheers. love the ww2 shooter theme with nazis.

  • whoops, used the wrong account. didn't realise i had two greenman accounts. now my games are all over the place and i can't download it again in my main account as it says i've exercised the voucher code already. oh well. it was free.

  • Anyone else having issues with the client? I'm running windows 7 and the capsule program crashes each time I try to download the game.

    • Try to download it from within the client

      • When I run the client it just gets stuck on the 'checking for updates from greenman' screen. I'm not sure where the root of the issue lies. I'm sure that it isn't being blocked by my firewall.

        • I got this too - run it under compatibility for Windows XP SP 2, that worked for me.

  • the first Necrovision isn't too bad either, a little slow to start, but it gets better!

  • I just discovered a glitch — after downloading the game and then closing Capsule, the next time you launch Capsule again, it will attempt to redownload the game.

If that happens just pause the download — the app doesn't seem to realize that Necrovision is already installed.

Spent a day telling myself that I didn't want to waste my time with installing another client, giving out my email address again etc etc. Then I caved today and downloaded it as I can't pass up a free, potentially not-shit game.

UPDATE: Blow me down - I'm really enjoying this game! First thing that hit was was the the graphics are excellent. Then the gameplay is awesome. It's like a cross between the early COD games and L4D. Amazing to get a game like this for free.
