you are comparing two different things, go pro hero 7 black vs garmin virb would be the right comparison
Is GoPro hero 7 silver same as Hero 5 black, just the silver does not have removable battery?
Have you checked specs - there was Hero 6 inbetween…
In each generation it seems Black is the highest spec, Silver second and the other colour, the lowest spec.
As the generation progress, the second-grade camera might have the same feature as the first grade from the previous generation.
I am comparing Silver 7 vs Black 5.
