Deep colour; the complex bouquet is full of perfumed spices, even violets, the full-bodied palate living up to the promise of the bouquet and belies the overall misperception of the inability to make malbec as a straight varietal rather than part of a multi-varietal blend. It is redolent of saturated plum fruits, dark chocolate and dark cherry, the tannins fine but persistent. An absolute steal at the price.

    Skye cellar has been unreliable.

    My order has been late and half delivered. Now when I ask for a refund they've been ignoring my email.

    I would not recommend buying from Skye.
