Shame it's for business rewards. I have 5 work trips coming up in this period, I don't get points but I do get status. Would have been nice.

    Probably special corporate ticket fares that don't earn points (only status credits), many government companies have tickets such as this.
    
    Interestingly I've heard of a few government employees that fly QF and have a lot of AA miles/points from these tickets…

      I'm a member of every major hotel program and flash my membership on arrival. They usually accumulate points no matter who Ive booked with.
