            @DoctorArd: It's been about 5 months since the last box? And I guess it's like different people at the same address ordering, but this is the second time I have ordered to the sand address with the same name but different emails

            I'll email them tomorrow morning with my order details if I don't see it tracked on their website by then.

        • After the Shopback Hellofresh 100% Cashback fiasco, I have taken screenshots of every purchase I made using Shopback so if it doesnt track I just send that to the rep.

          • @barozgain: Yeah then they asked me to forward my order confirmation email through. It's not tracking in my shopback yet but I got an email reply from "Debra" at shopback saying they have manually submitted it and should be processed in 35 days time, probably less.

  • Pardon my ignorance, but could someone explain how the Shop back cash back works? I just signed up to Shop back, then went to Hello fresh via the referral link ($50 credit?) and chose my plan, but I don’t want to pay the $45 for the box if I’m not sure I’ll get the $40 cash back. Does anyone have the time to explain it to me simply? Much appreciated if you can.

      If you go to the link below, hopefully you should see a "$35 off Your First Box + Cashback" option, click the Get Deal button to go to the page. Please note if you're using an ad-blocker you should whitelist this page, or use another browser without an ad-blocker to make sure the referral works.

      It should apply the $35 off for you automatically @ checkout, then you wait for you confirmation email on the $40 cashback which others have said takes about 2 hours. I haven't got mine yet but I will confirm it in here once I do.

      If you don't see the deal then it may not be for new people who signed up after it was offered, someone else here may be able to confirm that.

        If you're in WA tho, you pay extra $10 delivery fees…. so after cashback and everything, you end up with $5 out of pocket for 3 meals (2 servings of each)

        Thanks Tread, I found that link on Shop back a few minutes ago when I signed up so hopefully it will work smoothly as I didn’t validate my Shopback account via the email they sent, before I used the Hello fresh link, yet the Shop back link sent me to the Hello fresh website. 🤔 Looking forward to trying these meals! Thanks again.

          Also, I'd recommend paying via PayPal then cancelling auto subscription on PayPal straight after ordering

          • @barozgain: Ah, I just received the $40 on Shopback, however it says the money will be held until 8th June, once they clarify with Hellofresh that there have been no refunds, cancellation or return. I assume cancellation means full cancellation, not cancellation of just paypal auto-pay.

            • @Juju123: wth mine hasn't tracked on shopback yet!! I'd recommend you press on "skip" for the next 4 weeks… By that you haven't cancelled so no way they can cancel your cashback and you won't be charged anything. Once you receive the cashback, cancel the whole account

                • @Tread: did you order thru Safari? If yes, check if you have the "Prevent cross-site tracking" option enabled in your settings? Could be this setting.

        I am new to cashback, while some said they received confirmation within hours, but my said 'expect confirmation by 11 Jun 2019'

        Does it mean I might have to wait till 11 June to cancel the sub?

          You don't need to keep your subscription for a second box to be eligible for cashback. (I messaged @gotyourback to confirm) Cancel away people, just don't cancel the delivery! So I assume the terms relate to cancellation of the box's delivery, not the subscription.

          • @Bargainbeth: I thought the 'no cancellation' was for the subscription? If it's about the $34.9 box, does it mean I can cancel it when they arrive or now? I received an email by cashback 'Your Cashback has been credited into your ShopBack account.' but the overview on their website said the status is pending…

            • @wjojff: The site is vague on a lot of things. I'm not sure if cancelling the subscription via the site cancels the cashback, or worse, the delivery (hellofresh has also taken MY money, anyway).

              @gotyourback just told me that cancelling subscription doesn't lead to voiding of cashback, nor does changing delivery date (but changing box type will).

              Need to call them tomorrow anyway to confirm the former so I'll report back :).

                  @wjojff: Called hellofresh- they said they're aware of the cashback promo and as long as you cancel your subscription after the first box is delivered, it won't void cashback.

                  They also said cancelling the subscription before delivery will result in the first box not being delivered (who wants that).

                    • @wjojff: No worries! My delivery is June 2nd. I'll cancel then as was recommended by hellofresh and shopback. Though if you want to be really careful (and don't believe me, hellofresh and @gotyourback, I guess cancelling when the cashback is paid would be your best bet (in case the latter two have their info wrong).

    • yeah but when using this offer end up getting the meals + delivery for only $5 out of pocket

  • Does anyone know, if another weeks meals suit your fancy better, can you change to that week? When I ordered it only let me go two weeks in advance and didn't show me meals for my selected week either..

    Oh and my order tracked from shopback a few hours later. The terms on shopback don't state that you have to hold the subscription until cashback to be eligible.

    But ill message @gotyourback on here and report back.

      Full price is too expensive - so they keep losing customers. They then buy new customers by almost giving it away for free.

      Not a sustainable business model!!

      • I think their business model is like ebay plus… Either people sign up and forget to cancel or they like it from the free sample and pay the full fee subscription

        • Yeh I'm guessing they hope people forget to cancel at least they'll be charged full price for the second order. FWIW its overpriced without discounts.

    • Strangely, when I called they said cancelling the sub = cancelling the delivery (this was an Australian rep BTW).

  • Excuse my stupidity! But I just ordered their cheapest plan $34.95 - The Classic Box with 3 recipes per week, 2 servings per recipe, and have chosen delivery for next week. So they'll deliver it all on the one go, I assume. So is it safe to cancel the subscription as soon as I see the Shopback cashback tomorrow? Or should I wait until next week after I receive the delivery? Just wasn't sure if they would cancel my delivery if I cancel the sub tomorrow. Thanks!

      You should pause (not cancel) your the next weeks' deliveries and then once the cashback has been paid on your account (prob mid-June), then you can cancel your subscription. Don't cancel whilst the cashback shows 'pending'.

  • Trying to lodge a claim with shopback, anyone know where the order number is? is it customer id?

    • start Live chat with Hello fresh online and ask for your order no. That's what I did and can confirm it's diff to customer ID

      • Finally found the live chat, after a bit of talk the rep says "didn't realize you're not from the US, please contact us from 8-12pm AEST' I don't get why they don't give you an order number in the confirmation email.

  • I’m still waiting, I sent a query to shopback and received an email saying they’ll look in to it, and to expect a reply within 14 days.
    Edit- I just checked and the expected payment date has gone from 10th June to 20th June.
