Anyone Know Japan Flight Sale Patterns?

A couple mates an I have been so keen on going to Japan this year later in the year (October, November).

We just got super excited because Google flights was reporting a $331 round trip from our city to Tokyo with Jetstar, but upon getting to the Jetstar site to book - it was more than double that. Then you add baggage and you're almost at $1000.

Last year I went to Japan for $473 including 20KG bags return.

I don't want to pull the trigger if I should hold on a bit longer for a sale.

Does anyone know the sale patterns, or if I should wait a bit longer?

Would be massively appreciated. I know they tend to come out around the same time. I.e. this year in Feb there was one, same as 2018 in Feb.

Is it better to wait closer to October/Nov?

    Jetstar r flying cheap to Korea, 330 return, could use that to your sdvantage

      cheap korea flights sold out very quickly. only 1500 seats available

      Didn't take up the Japan free return sales from Jetstar a few times but keen again.
