Greetings everyone, just got sent a coupon from Youfoodz for 9 meals for $59, however it seems to be a generic coupon for $30.55 off $89.55 spend.

Currently they have a 6 pack of Autumn Faves for $45, and 2 free sandwiches also.

So combining these deals gives you 12 meals and 2 sandwiches for $59.45 Delivered which seems excellent.

Steps:

  1. Add 2x Autumn Faves Packs to your cart
  2. Add 2 sandwiches of your choice to your cart
  3. Apply the coupon "SUPERSTAR" at checkout

Autumn Faves Pack:

Unbeetable Chicken & Broc
Sticky BBQ Meatballs & Creamy Potato
Turkey Roast & Potato Bake
Hearty Beef Hot Pot & Pumpkin Smash
Moroccan Chicken & Veg
Yellow Coconut Curry with Pork

The code also works on Meal Kitz (which currently also have a promo for 20% off 4 or more Kitz, so you can get:

2x 3 for $49 Meal Kitz Pack for $78.40 + 2 Free Sandwiches + Add $12 more worth of items of your choice. I tested it out by adding 6 kitz, 1 meal and 3 sandwiches for $64.75.

See this screenshot for the promo stacking.

I believe delivery is free for most areas except for Perth (which is $20).

As always, enjoy!

  • "*Sorry Fam, no further promos or discounts apply on bundle packs"
    Might not get honoured.

  • Great price, just under $5 a meal with 2 free sandwhiches.

  • Do we add the sandwiches? Or do they come automatically?

    • +2

      Add them to your cart.

  • +2

If that code works with the Meal Kitz, you get 3 kits for $49 or 6 for $98.

Each kit will give you 2 meals that are slightly bigger than the standard meal.

So, that's 12 slightly larger meals, Plus 2 Sandwiches for $67.45

    • +2

Yep it does :) And you can also stack with 20% off 4 or more kitz lol.. So you can get 6 kitz, 1 meal and 3 sandwiches for $64.75..

      • +3

Well, that's even better :) I am going to have to get them to take back the stack of polystyrene boxes this time.

        • Send them an email complaining that they aren’t being collected. It was the only way the delivery driver actually took them.

          • @mrseltel: I have just been lazy and forgotten to put them out to be collected.

  • +3

Or… add your two sandwiches, and then one of the Autumn Faves and one of the Meal Kitz pack deals, That's 6 standard meals, 3 double meals (Kitz) and two sandwiches for $60.11

    • Just tried that combination and it doesn't work :(

      • Add some chips

  • I did 5 meal kits, one regular meal and two sandwiches for $59.20 after code and discounts. I think bonzbargain wins though…..

  • Perfect timing..
    I went 1x 3 kits, 2 sandwiches, 1 autumn pack and 1x popcorn chicken , $61 ish after discount.

    14 meals for $61 , $4.31 each.

  • I live in regional NSW. I opened the sandwich the day it arrived (and well before the Use By date). The bread was quite tough. My guess is that by keeping it in the fridge, the bread ages poorly.

Yes I did request a refund, although I guess now if they are giving them away then your refund will be $0

  • How do you get free shipping? i'm being charged $20 for Perth.

EDIT: nvm… living in perth makes this a no deal..

  • got 4 meal kits+3 meals+2 sandwiches for 63, really didn’t like the bundles, also 4 meal kits gives the maximum 20% off meal kits

URGENT YOU FOODZ has a statutory demand issued by a supplier to wind it up for non payment of goods. They are fighting it in the federal court. Love to see the defence, chicken swore at me so not fit for purpose!!! So if you order you may well cook your own money. GOOD LUCK and shame nice food otherwise.

Hint: If you’re going to make claims like this, you really need to cite your sources.

      • https://www.couriermail.com.au/news/queensland/crime-and-jus… is that what @travelbug is saying?

Have never heard about courier mail news before so not sure how legitimate they are (they're probs yellow papers like Dailymail)

        • Courier Mail is like Brisbane’s Daily Telegraph. Except there’s no competition, it’s Brisbanes only major newspaper.

          • @aja12: Brisbane times is also pretty big

        • +1

can someone post the details or a way to get past the paywall?

      • +3

I don't want to reveal too much personal information, but:

I work in the finance team as one of youfoodz's suppliers. I can corroborate that we are having severe difficulty in getting them to pay, and their accounts number is unreachable. In all likelihood, there's a good chance they're near insolvency.

        • These things happen in this space, it’s who can win market share and it’s a fight to the bottom where a lot will go under. Just use a credit card a do a chargeback if the worst happens, this particular matter isn’t being heard until June 7 so I’d say these orders will be fine. The buying market share with discounts phase is where the consumer gets the best deals, once there’s a clear winner the discounts slow and everything stabilises

  • Is this a subscription model whereby you have to cancel or else they’ll keep sending you stuff and chargin you?

Here is your winding up source negging me only defeats the ozbargain purpose.
Text you copy will automatically show here

So pvote me before my fellow citizens possibly lose their money.

    • +3

Thanks for the heads up, but it is highly unlikely customers will lose their money from the result of a court case in the next week or 2.

    • +1

Pay with a Credit Card, do a chargeback if they go under and you never get your meals. Simple 👍🏻

    • Next hearing is June 7, these deliveries will be well before then (and chances are the matter will go on for a while)

    • +2

Use the source straight up. Avoids all the neg votes. 👍🏻

  • Got the Autumn faves, 1x3 meal kitz, 2x sandwich and 1x Bliss Ball for $59.10

Thanks Doweyy, but if you follow my many posts you will see my expertise at predicting company downfalls. In fact, had I not been negged many ozbargainers would have not lost $thousands in the last travel agency collapse. It's like I have some insider expertise (hint hint).

Mate, just a helpful community hint: Rather than starting a new comment chain, click the “reply” link under the comment you want to respond to. It will nest your response directly underneath. Makes discussion easier to follow :)

    • hey bud, I know your on a roll but commenting multiple times within a bargain is usually poor internet comment etiquette (shout out to big money salvia)

  • Thanks op
Didn't see when the code expires

  • When does this expire?

    • The code is set to expire tomorrow at 11:59pm, but they might pull the code for kitz and packs so get in quick.

  • +1

Don't think the sandwiches work anymore.

  • +1

How do you get the sandwiches? it wont add mine for free.

  • +2

They becoming like hello fresh, don’t have tine to cook but good deal.

  • +2

This code has not expired, it expires tonight at midnight. Just dont get the 2 free sandwiches

    • +1

Thanks Frazel, I was about to leave disappointed until I seen your post. Pity about the sandwiches, but I'll still take it.

      • NP :)

        • Did the code still work with 2X autumn packs?

          • +1

@Stingyboi: Yeah it did, but the autumn packs went up from 45 to 49 now.

I think the code has expired now though. Haven't tried.

  • Delivery arrived today. The meal kitz have a use before May 13 lol. I might freeze the normal chicken to make it last longer. It's too much for one person.

They also changed their packaging now to a normal "enviro" box. Other than the non-toxic gel pack, mostly are re-usable and recyclable. I can probably use the bubble liner when sending parcels out. Good thing it's winter though so it should remain colder than usual, but I don't know how summer will fare with this.

    • Meal kits are supposed to have a minimum range of 5 days from the day you receive your order. Contact them via live chat or support as that shouldn't be (same thing happened here, 5 meals kits with the use by date only 2 days after receiving it).

      • True. it does say it on their FAQs. I contacted live chat and they gave me 6 more meal kitz for free :|

Just to add a feedback for people, the sandwiches are not worth it.
