Android or Apple? Can't help with Apple, I just locked this morning on the previous deal using Android.
- Download fakegps
- Delete your current 7-eleven app
Search through the 7-eleven fuel watch forum post for the .apk someone has been kind enough to have modded (you'll need developer settings switched on and install from unknown sources also switched on)Thank me later See here- Install .apk file
- Run fakegps (you'll also need to allow mock locations in your settings - it should prompt you when the app opens)
- Input location coordinates/suburb/postcode
- Press play
- Open 7-eleven app, pick fuel, search for price lock, lock in.
About as much help as I can be as I was previously used the website link and pretty much gave up hope (laziness) until I got sick of paying high prices again and looked to fix what I was doing on my own Android device.
Admins, feel free to unpost/block my comment but I figured if people are mentioning mock locations/fakegps then it's pretty obvious to any outsider (7-eleven) reading that this is what's going on, figured my guidance doesn't really make it any different. shrugs 🤷♂️
they are getting tricky with the android app and fakeGPS now … need to retry many times
@uccoffee: Mine worked with the patched .apk straight away. It's all in the modded .apk. Fake gps hadn't worked with my genuine 7-eleven app since day one.

Just use nox on your computer. Easiest way without having to fiddle with apks and google update
Sorry mate - are you able to expand on that. I tried google search with Nox but if brings up an Android emulator ? Is that the one and if yes what are the next steps. TIA
Download "bignox" and not the "noxofficial" one (as that's an imposter I believe despite ranking higher on Google). Then:
- Install, start it up, then an emulator instance should be created and able to run.
- Find the 7-11 App on Google Play.
- Hit the location pin on the right of the window and set your target address.
- Open Seven-11 app, sign in and lock in your price.
Sometimes if you have two phones with the Seven-11 app signed in they won't sync the lock-in status. If that ever happens you need to sign out and back in again.
Thanks, my app wasn't playing ball with my second account so I couldn't lock in yesterday's cheapie. Thank goodness it's working today, 49L worth locked and loaded :D
Do you need to lock as many litres as you are going to use, or just some amount to get the locked price?

As much as you're going to use - if you fill up more than you locked in you pay full price for the extra.
I suggest adding $100 to 7 11 account. Then fill up, you only pay as much as you fill up. Pay by cash not 7-11 app

I was just experiencing this too, found a work around. You can still zoom out/drag to move the map, I just googled where Clayton was, and dragged my way there, then double click to pin.

Thoughts on 7/11 supreme vs the usual BP/Shell equivalent for a performance car?
I find my car is sluggish on Shell / 7-11 fuel. BP gives best performance on my RX350

The only thing ive ever found that effects it is how old the gas station was.
My car made 294kw on 7-11 fuel and 293kw on BP. Both 98. Dyno results are within margin for error so no difference in fuel…
What happens if I use less litres than what I pay for?

If you pay by card/cash and not the funds on the account then the credit will just stay there. That way you don't have to keep on reloading. It's easier this way as you can lock in a higher amount without having to reload more money on it each time.

Filled up at Nunawading, VIC. The guy (an Asian, probably the store owner) gave me a hard time and swore at me as I walked out. LOL
Yeah but I’m in QLD. Don’t think I’ve used a QLD price in a while. This is probably the biggest discount I’m going to use, so will see what their reaction is. And it’s cheaper than the special unleaded price up here haha.
