A few dollars more than the Officeworks $397 offer - but the Google Store includes free delivery (Officeworks only offers free shipping for selected metro areas) - making it a few dollars cheaper once that's factored in if you live out of the CBD, plus there's something pleasing about buying directly from Google. It was literally $569.00 yesterday. Plus, as per the text in the post - free shipping means it's cheaper than other options if you get it delivered (Officeworks charges for deliveries outside of selected metro areas). Not everyone lives close to Officeworks. With shipping included, it's quite literally the cheapest way for many of us to get this speaker dropped at our door - which I think meets the definition of a deal :) If you want to drive to officeworks to save $2 - go for it. I'll stay at home in my PJ's and get it shipped to me :)
For what it's worth - this is cheaper than US pricing.
US store: US$299 = AU$426 + 10% GST = $476. We're finally getting a bargain at $399.
Doesn't office works have free delivery for anything over $55? this would qualify for that.
Selected metro areas only. If you live 20 minutes north of the city like me, there's a shipping fee.
Officeworks charge $5.95 for "regional" deliveries (which apparently, me living 17km north of the CBD counts as regional. And $25.95 for "country" areas. Google store, on the other hand, is free no matter where you live.
tldr; If you live in the city, Officeworks is $2 cheaper. If you live just out of that zone - Google Store will be a few dollars cheaper. If you live in the country, Google Store will be over $20 cheaper.

Great to see it priced well against the new US price.
Waiting now for a new discount or deal off the new regular price and I'll bite.
How is this a deal? it's the regular price, and it's cheaper at officeworks where you can pick up and not have to wait for delivery.
