PADISAMMIPEPSISAMMIBLUESAMMI

THIS DEAL WILL EXPIRE TODAY 13 MAY AT 12.00

There has been a bit of a dry spell of killer Seiko watch deals on here lately, so StarBuy have once again come to assist you in emptying your wallets. This deal is available to OzBargain before the general public are even made aware of it tomorrow afternoon. I will not be partaking in this deal myself, lest my hands be amputated from my body by my good lady wife, so please allow me to live vicariously through you all.

It goes without saying that StarBuy have one of the best express post dispatching of purchases.

Add one watch to your cart at a time and apply the code. There should be a space between the model and SAMMI eg PADI SAMMI.

A nice photo overview of the collection is available for your eyes at this page Monochrome Watches and the PADI version

These wear exceptionally well on the wrist, despite the large diameter dial size, thanks to a compact lug to lug distance of 48mm. The lugs are also drilled for easy strap changes.

Since they are all the same spec, I won't repeat myself. NOTE the PADI & Blue models come on bracelets, whereas the Pepsi model is on a black Seiko rubber strap.

  • Not the watch I'm currently looking for but great deal. Like you I have too many watches and I'm holding out for the new Seiko 'Arnie' SNJ025 later his year.

    • +2

A bit busy looking for my tastes, but a cool watch nonetheless.

    • +1

The Seiko SNJ025 for the uninitiated. Won't be cheap.

    • Is there some website I can go to for the latest Seiko releases? (e.g. that 'arnie') I am happy with my SKX009 but the right turtle or sumo (or similar) might convince me to upgrade.

      • Try this

  • So tempted 🙉

  • +3

Killer deal. Got my black Samurai (SRPB51K) for $350 last year when Starbuy had a sale. Super tempted to get a PADI but that would be my 4th Seiko… if you don't already have a Samurai you can't go wrong at those prices.

    • Personally I will abstain from this deal - waiting on the new great white shark save the ocean turtle or samurai to go on sale - abstained from the save the ocean turtle and samurai deal for them too so I can't let myself break here!

  • +2

The blue dial is available every day on eBay from the seller Watch Spree for $342 delivered.

    • +5

This is true, however it is not Australian stock and has a 12 month warranty as opposed to the full 3 years from StarBuy.

      • The Watch Spree ships from Melbourne, so it is Australian stock with no GST added on. I'm not suggesting that anyone buy from Watch Spree over this deal, but when it invariably sells out, there is another option. And if you combine the Watch Spree price with an ebay 5 or 10% coupon, it comes up cheaper.

I have the Padi bought from Starbuy previously. It’s definitely one of my favourites. Can’t fault Starbuy for price and delivery speed!

  • +2

I have the Blue and for the $$ is an amazing watch.

  • Bought a seiko brown bottle cap from the recent deal - purchased at 1130am, if I had of been home the next day I would have got it within 25 hours (Canberra South), had to wait until 3pm for post office pickup but bloody quick. Personally I will abstain from this deal - waiting on the new great white shark save the ocean turtle or samurai to go on sale - abstained from the save the ocean turtle and samurai for them too so I can't let myself break here!

    • Waiting for the save the ocean samurai too!

      • That ship has sailed

      • +1

there was already an excellent deal on the save the ocean samurai, I am refering to the new great white save the ocean special edition that was announced at baselworld 2019 with no release date announced as of yet. it should be a global release though so hopefully starbuy will be able to get some stock when it is released.

        • +1

It's already on the Seiko Boutique website for pre-orders and a release in June. Pre-orders for the Turtle version have sold out but last time I looked the Samurai was still available. However, at $799 I'll be waiting Starbuy to get stock after the release.

      • +1

Waiting for some more upmarket Seiko divers.

        • +2

@ilikeit Any particular model? We can add it to our wish list for Seiko and see if they are able to find any extra stock in quantity for us. Thanks

          • +1

            @StarBuy: Sbdc061 or Sbdc063.

            • @ilikeit: For the uninitiated (like me), we're talking about the Seiko Prospex 200m Automatic "Baby MM" Black and Blue.

  • +1

I always miss deals on the blue Sami but not today! Thanks OP!

  • Why so much love for the skx007/skx009 on the interwebs?

    • Probably because they are already so cheap

    • Cheap, solid, attractive, genuine 200m, good lume and many, many after-market options for customisation. Very upgradable.

  • +4

Pulled the trigger… bought the blue sammi … thanks OP

  • +3

Already own the Blue Sammi (wearing it now) and I love it, nice post OP.

  • +2

Been wanting a Seiko for a while now! Pulled the trigger on the PADI, thanks OP

  • says "Coupon code "PADISAMMI" is not valid." ???

    • The code is PADI SAMMI.
      Thanks

    • +2

"Add one watch to your cart at a time and apply the code. There should be a space between the model and SAMMI eg PADI SAMMI"

      • I won't repeat myself.

Sometimes life doesn't proceed the way initially anticipated.

        • sorry haha

      • sorry I am such a newbie in watches. Just a dumb question - what if default length of the bracelet doesn't fit my wrist?

        • +1

@pipidog If the metal bracelet is short, we can order spare links from Seiko for you. We sell on average a thousand watches a week and only need to order links twice a month from Seiko. Generally links are taken off rather than added.

          Thanks

  • +1

I abandoned non sapphire watches. I'm tired of scratching them. shame these are glass

  • Are Seiko watches still made in Japan?

    • You can find these made in Japan models if they have the J instead of K at the end of the model number.

  • when is this deal valid till?

    • +2

Until stock runs out. I'll revise the post tomorrow when I've been provided a stock update.

      • thank you.

        • +3

Looks like this has been a success and will end today at midday.

  • +1

I would love to see some on-wrist shots from anybody who picked up these beauties.

    • +1

Ordered the Pepsi samurai w/ rubber strap on Saturday. Will post a picture when it comes in!

  • +1

Damn missed out! Please do this again!

  • Has anyone had trouble with receiving their watches from this deal?

    • All sorted out now! Got the watch - Just a misunderstanding.

  • Any chance of doing this deal again please

    • +1

@bigben75 . Please watch out for our Big Sale starting at midday on Tuesday the 25th of June. We will have these on special then. www.starbuy.com.au
