Guys sorry if this has been asked before - I receive my item from Amazon on Monday only to find that the price of the same item in Amazon is now cheaper (difference is quite significant).
Should I return and repurchase (less ideal obviously), or can I talk to CS and they will refund the difference?

Having said that since Amazon has a very generous return policy (besides one of the reason for returning is there's better price) I'm obliged to return and repurchase if there isn't a better or easier way of doing this….

No you're not allowed to contact customer service. They're the last people on earth who you should ask, a random kid on the street can answer your question and have more power to do anything than CS. How dare you even mention CS.

Mate….. Just call them. Do it NOW. The time it took to write this thread you would have your answer.
If you return in for a reason that is your fault (e.g. don't want it) then you'll have to pay the postage.
I've rung amazon under this exact circumstance and had them throw me a gift voucher for the difference, I've also done it and had them say they don't price guarantee or price match… so it really depends on the rep you get.

There was also another thread, with identical issue, but the item was sold by a 3rd party not by Amazon themselves.
If you bought from Amazon (as opposed to 3rd party) you can start a chat with their customer rep and test their generosity, but if you've bought from a third party seller you can reasonable expect 'no' as an answer
