I much prefer the Double Black

      What's his name?

      • Bruce.

        It's what're their names?

        • Or what’s IT’s name, sounds more like an object to me (but not for me, you understand?)

    • And I prefer a Yama 18

  • Mmm. Black is fantastic. To me it tasted peatier than the Double Black.

Spend 10-15 more and get something tasteful. JW is for coke mixers

    • Aldi Highland Earl?

    • Oh yeah.. Black is still a bargain to get the job done. After 4 drinks the tounge gets liberated anyway…

Pay bit more and go for green 😅

    • Just a bit more and go for ardbeg 10 or laphroaig 10/q cask !! Yum

Weird to think that without taxes a bottle would be nearly $20.

Buying blended whisky when you are so close to the range of a single malt is a waste of money.

Green label is effectively $55 at first choice after factoring in 2000 flybuys points from the Mother's Day promotion currently running.

Don't wanna neg you I think this price is standard. Best way to buy these are from boozebud with Groupon (if available) topped with free shipping or discounts through boozebud. I bought 30 bottles with 6 accounts at an average price of $32 each. Was for a friend's wedding. All up it was 30 bottles for $950.

      Broden, is that you?

    • Tried that they now only allow one Groupon per address

    • Agree, this appears to be $1-$2 off the standard price at DM

  • Just got black label for 61$ - 1L at Costco.

    • Nice. So 700ml would have been $42.70. Nice to know that you also used a 5% discounted WOW gift card at Costco as well.

  • I'm a Scot and I think this is terrible whisky. For a similar price you can probably find a bottle of Monkey Shoulder and have a far better experience. But each to their own dram. Slainte!
