      Chinese knockoff of cherry's. I bought the non-numpad version a while back and I really do like they typing experience. Battery life's not the best, but I'm probably being picky - it lasts about 4-5 work days.

        Why I ask is because the last Velocifire KB (VM01) I bought was Outemu Browns. They were more like 60g or 65g Cherry MX browns. They're by no means a bad deal ($53 for a Heavy Cherry MX brown by Outemu full sized keyboard is a great bargain) but not exactly Cherry MX browns (Outemu Browns claim to also have 55g actuation force, but two KBs side by side, you can tell the difference)

        Do you have a Cherry MX Brown KB to test next to?

          I do not, I'm afraid so take my comparison with a grain of salt - I was working off what others were saying in the last deal.

          I prefer it compared to genuine reds on a Corsair, but that isn't really saying much…

            @The Gent: I prefer Cherry MX Browns to Genuine Reds or Cherry MX Speed as well.
            Cherry MX browns are unexpectedly short. (maybe because I type like 90% of other typists and bottom out)

    Nice keyboard - I got it from a previous deal and have been using it in the office.

    Mine didn't have o rings (had to purchase those separately on ebay), and since then it's perfect.

    I use it as wired, but wireless is convenient bc you can disconnect the keyboard, charge your phone then reconnect it w/o having another cable or wireless charger taking premium desk space.
