You either love him or hate him. But hard to ignore a $100 voucher for only $49. Great if you were already eyeing something off the site or want to pickup a small item like a Wi-Fi Radio or eBook reader.

You can also use the $5 free credit they offer if you signup to their email list. So that effectively makes it $44 for $100 voucher.

  • Thank you for the post…Pls correct me if i'm wrong…I wanted to buy a Table PC ($149), so I guess I will need to buy a coupon (will save me 51) and then pay an extra $49 right?…That means it will cost me only 49+49 YAY!

  • NOTE :

Not valid in conjunction with any other Kogan offers (such as Frugal Friday and LivePrice)

    • Also: "The value of the voucher cannot be applied towards delivery fees"

    • dammit! there goes that idea haha

  • Nevermind - Not valid in conjunction with any other Kogan offers (such as Frugal Friday and LivePrice

    can't be used for LivePrice………………..

    • +1

that's a stupid reason to -ve $50 off… there are lots of other items that can be purchased…

  • I wanted to get the Delux Internet radio but you can only purchase it via live price and you therefore can't use the voucher on it :( I thought I was on a winner till I read the fine print.

    • always read the fine print first…

  • the term say you can buy "ANYTHING", so…

    1 - get the voucher
    2 - buy the Kogan $100 voucher
    http://www.kogan.com.au/shop/gift-voucher-100/
3 - Enjoy less restrictions: longer validity, multiple voucher per order, and possibly credit rollover (i.e. don't have to use all $100 at once, I hope)

      read the conditions

(sorry, gifts aren't available for this great deal!)

      • "You can buy ANYTHING from the kogan website using your $100 voucher - choose from Digital Set Top Boxes, DVD Players, iPod Docks, GPSs, Digital Photo Frames, LCD and LED TVs, Laptops, Vacuum Cleaners, Coffee Machines, Heaters, Microwaves, NetBooks and much much more"

        Did I miss something?

          Did I miss something?

yes, you can't use it for gift vouchers according to the conditions

        • I disagree.. it says you can't gift the deals.com.au offer to friends, not that you can't buy gift vouchers.
Could be the loophole required to buy Liveprice items assuming that you get the code to use immediately, rather than wait to have it posted to you.

      • +2

that only means you can't buy the $49 voucher from deals.com.au as a gift your friend. Not that you are not allow to buy the gift voucher from Kogan for yourself, that's how I interpret it.

        • hmmm… try it and let us know ???

        • I would, but haven't found anything decent to buy yet, the most interesting thing so far is the 7" inch tablet, but don't think I would want to spend $100bux on it.

        • The Deluxe DAB+ WiFi Internet Radio is the thing I have my eye on.
          ~$131 Liveprice
          http://www.kogan.com.au/shop/kogan-wi-fi-digital-radio-dab-i…

Does anyone know how the Gift Voucher system works with Kogan?
It kinda looks like you have to email them to use their voucher!
(as opposed to the Deals.com.au voucher which can be entered as a discount code when you checkout)

        • that's another worry, since there's not much details on the gift card T&C.

On the take a pick side, I'm eyeing this one:

          http://www.kogan.com.au/shop/22-full-hd-lcd-tv-w-dvd-player-…

22" Full HD, using 2 voucher, the price goes down to $100

    • can't be used for LivePrice………………..

      • +1

        I'm cornfuzed _

  • Spend 49.00, to only buy their non discounted or rrp price hmmm no brainer

    • it's only a good deal if you were looking at getting one of the non-discounted items in the first place…

      • +1

Yes which no one in their right mind would do…….

        • +1

Totally agree, this is just marking BS, heres a voucher where we look like we are being nice giving you free cash, in the end we arent as we only let you spend it on things you wouldnt normally buy i.e our full priced items….sorry I dont see this as a deal, but its very smart marketing that seems to be working on a lot of people.

      • They turned over millions in revenue last year. So they are doing something right.

  • Anybody have experience of the Kogan Wi-Fi Region Free Blu Ray player?

  • I have a 2TB External HDD but Kogan's PVR only has MAX 1TB recording option. Does this mean it wouldn't work at all/or just up to 1TB?

  • Just receive and email from a Kogan rep, and they say the voucher cannot be used to the buy $100 gift card. So another case of deal company's ambiguity I say
