  • What a large traditional pezza usually cost?

    • +2

$14 or so, at least at my local store. There's a current code (396158) that cuts it down to $7.95 which has been active for a while, seems better than this deal.

      • Should cost $3 for the tiny size that they are.

        • -1

They make about 18 cents profit on $5 pizza which is just 1-2 toppings with cheese and sauce… so no they shouldn't.

@Abbi: They point you were making is invalid though.

              • -1

@Vinodra: It is if you don’t miss the point as you have.

@Abbi: Did I though? You said they should be cheaper because they are too small/ not worth the money. I pointed out that they are priced correctly. I also didnt "miss the point" of your overused joke, it was just not funny since its so unoriginal.

                  • @Vinodra: You're right, I was wrong. They cost much much less than $3 to make, but if you add overheads they probably come to $3.10 to make.

Why do you think they have reduced the portions sizes of them twice in recent years? Increase profits and now they are child size. Absolutely rubbish that they make 18cents on a $5 pizza. I've previously worked for Dominos and it's no where near 18cents.

                    Shit small pizzas are shit.

PS; What joke? I haven't made any jokes. Everything I have said is completely serious and true.

                    • @Abbi: Recent ama from a manager here on ozbargain said the make 18 cents profit on a $5 pizza. That's why most of them are like 5.25 rather than 5. You're wrong.

                      • @Vinodra: Because you believe everything that is told to you on the internet. So no, having worked there with first hand experience they have much more profit on a $5 pizza than you have been led to beleive. What first hand experience do you possess? You have absolutely NO idea what you are talking about.

                        • @Abbi: You see the irony in your statement, correct?

                          • @Vinodra: Come back to me when you have first hand experience.
