I have a similar USB sound card I bought of eBay for $2.50 that works very well. How is this any different?

Does it have TRRS (4 pin support) or separate headphone and mic jack. If TRRS post a link I will buy 20 of them.

        Their website says…

"Ugreen USB Audio Adapter can easily add a 3.5mm TRRS port (integrated audio-in and audio out interface) to your PC through an available USB interface. It can bypass the defective sound card or the faulty 3.5mm audio port of your laptop/desktop system and regain the audio function for you. Save the cost of replacing a failed sound card."

Edit: Odd, don't understand the downvotes when I'm directly answering another poster's question…

        • I suspect the down votes might be because the question was @BlinkyBill was asking if the $2.50 eBay card suggested by @Mel-waukee supported TRRS.

          • @mathew42: Ah, I see. Completely misread his question…

      • Sorry mate, it has separate headphone and mix jacks.

      • You can get this one for less than half the price of a ugreen one: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1Pc-USB-To-3-5-mm-stereo-jack-he…

      • Yes, this usb sound card is designed for your new headset with 3.5mm TRRS interface. It does not work with headset with separate headphone and microphone 3.5mm audio port.

Any better than onboard mobo sound?

  • +2

Pretty funny pictures they have to advertise it.

You can see it plugged into a Macbook Air, and a headphone plugged in the adapter.

Just next to their adapter is… an audio jack into the laptop!

    BTW Ebay… $11.95, free shipping…
