The 4 is just around the corner with colour screen and music controls. Just saying.

    • -1

also honor band 4 has same thing
and is cheaper than the xiaomi one

      • +1

        Where from?

        • Also keen to know, at this price I'm happy to pick one up to dick around with - if there's a better option available locally without a 4 week wait I'm all ears!

        • I meant cheaper than the xiaomi hey+

    • Any other updates? Honestly just interested in heartrate, sleep tracking and distance
$27 looks good, I have seen it cheaper.
Mid year sales are coming around now, so these pre sales may actually not be the best discounts!

  • Kogan also dropped the price, so I assume the 4 is coming.

    Phrasing.

    • It already leaked in the last app update.

  • This always promises extraordinary battery life, but I struggle to get a week out of mine. Anyone got any idea of the common settings that need to be tweaked to achieve this?

    • No active heart rate detection apart from workout. It also depends how many notification you get during the day.

      • Hmm must be the heart rate, I do get a lot of notifications but I will try without heart rate monitoring for the week. Wouldn't be a huge issue but I get JUST under one weeks charge, so I always run out of juice on a Sunday and don't charge til Monday at work.

        Thanks,

        • How does it charge?

          • +2

@Dan83: The pill pops out of the band, and you insert it into a USB "dongle".

    • I normally charge once a week but it is about 40% battery most of the time.
But as below when I have a week with a stack of notifications it will be lower.
I have active heart rate on.

    • I've just come back from a trip overseas where I wore it every day for 3 weeks and it's still on 45% battery.

I have notifications turned off and rarely check my heart rate, but I do sync back to the app daily

      • If you don't have notifications, and don't use the active heart rate, what do you use it for?

        • Steps I’m guessing.

        • steps. heart rate on demand, usually after exercise or a long walk and time.
It was also really handy to know how much distance I covered each day while I was travelling but I found a huge discrepancy between what the band was reporting compared to what my note 9 was.

  • If ShopPRO has anymore stock, let me know.

  • Great deal.

  • thanks, purchased

  • Bought the same item on eBay for $13.41.
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Xiaomi-Mi-Band-3-Heart-Rate-Smar…

    • I was always warned on here that eBay contains lots of fakes?

      • 2003 called and asked it's questions back

    • +2

      Most likely a fake

    • +1

Generic Username and only 200 items sold.

      Seems legit.

      • Only 1 per account every 10 days

    • Update from eBay: The account was compromised and hence the order got cancelled :)

  • +1

I'll definitely be updating on the quality I receive. Had V2 so I would be able to tell it right away if there's any difference in quality. Thanks!

    • if it connects to mifit then it is genuine.

  • just came home from work and bought this. cbf with apple watch as that heart rate monitoring is average at best. is this hr monitor constant or only when you set it at a function?

    • Either/or

  • Have they fixed the appearance of English on this? That was the reason I didn't get it earlier. I recall having to do some English rom flash to change the language and it looked pretty ugly afterwards

  • Could someone respond when/if they get more stock? I want one :)

    • +2

      In stock. Please check.

  • Mine has shipped!

    • Received mine yesterday.

  • Late on this but was still able to buy one for my 7yo who loves to track his steps on his Mi Band 2 :) Thanks

  • +1

I have it and would not buy again,
screen is getting dimmer and dimmer.
sleep tracking is a joke. does not recognize me going to the loo a at night, instead shows "deep sleep" at that time aso.
touch sensitivity is also degrading slowly.

  • I bought one. It's not of the usual high quality I've come to expect from Xiaomi.
The touchscreen is often unresponsive and sometimes sign-in to the app fails.
Other than that, for $28 shipped, it's a great way to see how unfit I am :)

  • mine arrived to perth, amazed by the functionality for the price.

  • everyone just use the mi fit app, or are there must have 3rd party apps to get the full functionality of the band?

    • MI fit app.
