Just spotted this special on the Logitechshop Facebook page. Free delivery which is pretty fast (2-3 days from my experience), as they use Australian Air Express.

Nice cheap gaming mouse, the next cheapest on staticIce is $38. Note that this mouse is optical and not laser.

    Good price I think.

    One thing to complain about this mouse, the middle button is quite rigid and pressing it too much causes some pain/discomfort. I've developed an avoidance to middle-clicking due to this mouse, and am actually considering remapping it to one of the side buttons.

    Definitely a good deal. Been using mine for years! at one point in time though the scroller went spaz! Had to open her up and repair (jiggle it around until work properly). Took the clicker for the scroll wheel out as well, so smotth scrolling. Will have this one sitting in the cupboard ready for the day my current one dies!

    Great mouse! not as good as the rev 2 g5 but far better then the g9 (awkward shape) and g500 (what were they thinking with the sensor placement) mice

        the sensor placement is near the front/fingers so when you aim, especially if you are using a scope in a fps you tend to miss when you click to shoot as the sensor jumps due to it being closer to your fingers instead of the the mid section where you hand normally pivots (especially if you are running over 3200dpi). Also on the g9x and the g500's (unless logitech's finally released the new firmware) you can't turn off acceleration completely - it is more annoying then you would think - trust me it not worth it. the g5 v2 and the mx 518's are still the best mice logitech made/make.

        I'm looking to personally try a Roccat Kone 2/3 - from what i have been told, these guys are now what logitech used to be.

          Thanks for the heads up but I already own a G500. It's a great mouse but I also wanted to grab an optical mouse plus it's not a bad idea having a spare one around :)

          Hopefully they'll come back. Cheers for the help though :)
