i7 Processor, 8GB Ram, and 128GB SSD. What Is The Cheapest Laptop Available? Any Suggestions

I am looking to buy a laptop with the following specs
i7 processor, 8GB ram, and 128GB SSD.

I am open to any brand, just wondering what options/deals do I have.
This is my first post here, but hopefully its not against the policy to ask such suggestions.

EDIT: As some comments suggested, I am happy with an i5 as well.

    • I would also suggest monitoring this site for the next 5 weeks. EOFY always sees some very good laptop deals.

      • Yep, like this which would suit OP's needs and comes in cheaper than eBay/SI with a bigger SSD and more Ram

        In fact, buy that OP!

Are you sure you need an i7? You may be limiting yourself and/or paying too much when there is not likely to be much difference in performance between an i7 and an i5.

    • In that case I am open to the suggestions for i5 as well.

  • What's your price range and uses for it?
You could drop to an i5 and get a lot bigger SSD.

    • Just the general purpose machine. But I do have to run computation intensive programs occasionally, e.g. MT4 and some Python scripts to process large amounts of data.

      • even the new i3 will be fine as they are quad core

for 8gb ram, i dont expect you to be doing much work rather than daily browsing, emails and word editing

  • If your just doing general stuff on windows 10 then even an i3 is fine.

Windows 10 is very efficient these days.

I have it installed on a 10 year old core 2 duo with 4gb ram with an ssd and it runs amazingly well.

Discussing i3/5/7 is completely useless unless you are mentioning the generation of the processor.

8th gen i5s are often much better then older i7s.

    • Seems pretty likely to be 8th gen or later if buying new.
