Saw on PH, seems like a good price and good alternative to inkjet printers.

      No messing around with the new Epson and Canon ones… But yes, a higher setup cost. I paid around $300 for mine with a 20% off ebay sale and have only had to top up one colour in over a year… (it came with full ink). So my total running cost has been about $15 so far… Pretty much paid itself off already for me.

  Im loving these cheap printers, everytime the toner runs out, it's goneski. Not worth buying toner.

  No matter how cheap the laser printers are I am just unwilling to put a laser printer at home because of the nasty toner…..

      Micro particles blow out of the printer while printing… as well as potential issue of mishandling the toner cartridge while changing one and during paper jam.

          @Other: Back in the days I saw a middle-age Executive Secretary which on her desk was a HP Laserjet printer constantly up and running within 60cm of where she sat. I can see she was getting less and less healthy during the 18 months I was in that company…

    They are 1,000 pg which is kind of low IMO.

    Better off looking for 2-3,000 pg unit maybe an MFD.

      fmd… every printer has wifi now, hate it - usb used to be so useful… -> scan & print straight to/off usb stick.

  I am looking for a cheap mono laser printer
  This printer seems great, it has wireless and under $50

    Bought one. Successfully connected to network using wifi. prints fine, reconnects fine, no dramas so far.
    I had to replace my one and a half year old canon inkjet, which shows a B203 error(as good as dead).
