  • Is it better than dyson?

    • +1

I've got the one before the V6, I think it's the dc45, and the Bosch BCH6255NAU. My Bosch is miles ahead of my Dyson but I have no idea about the much newer Dysons. It certainly needs a lot of strength to push along on max setting on carpet, but it picks up more far more than my Dyson or my corded power head vac than I've since gotten rid of.

    It is a good machine.
I bought this for my MIL to replace a broken Dyson V6. She complained it is very heavy to use and I have to buy her a new V6 to make her happy.

    • +1

yes it's heavier than dyson's - the heaviness comes from the push as the machine is heavier than the dysons.
but I don't need to keep squeezing the annoying button on dyson - I find that quite annoying.
I've had a similar model for 3 years and it's going strong.

        I like the Bosch Athlet.
My MIL just like to hear the "Max" setting sound from Dyson, she used it in the max mode all the time and complained about the short battery life. I didn't want to spend too much to get the V8 at the beginning as she always breaks things. I bought a Bosch Athlet as it has a longer running time but she said she needed to see physio after using it. FXXK Me.

  • These are amazing, I rate them as much better than the Dysons, just without the name.

  • +1

I bought the lower-powered BCH6255NAU (what's with these cryptic model numbers?) and wasn't impressed compared to the Dyson V6. It felt cheap and didn't seem as powerful. It does have a larger-capacity bin though.

This deal is the next level up, so I'd imagine it would be quite a bit better.
