Exchange NZD Cash for AUD Sydney

Hi all.
Hoping for some up to date tips on best currency exchanges in Sydney CBD Haymarket etc as I have around NZD 750 in cash that I need to exchange for AUD.
Any advice appreciated :)

Change your NZD 750 to 20c NZ coins and use them as 20c AU coins. They look the same and most people won't notice.

  OP walking around with 3750 coins in a bag would be more shady than the NZ coins themself :)

  I just checked my wallet and found 3 of those NZ coins which I thought were normal AU … seems like many people are doing this :(

  New Zealand updated their 20 cent coins years ago. Their new coins don't look anything like ours anymore.

    Yes, I can't believe this old thing keeps coming up - the NZ coins were changed in 2006!
    
    Any "old" NZ 20c coins in Aus have probably remained in circulation here for all that time - not recently brought over from NZ…

There is that old asian guy at Haymarket. He used to have the best exchange rate. Look for the Capitol Terrace on George St. There is a convenient store downstairs and inside at the back, there is his currency exchange booth. Edit: last time I been there was 2 years ago…
