    White only.

    Yet, displays black product

  • How does it compare to SVS Pb-2000?

    • +1

      Apples and oranges.

The SVS PB-2000 is a ported box 12 inch.

      The M&K V10 is a sealed box 10 inch.

They're just different sounding. Personally, I didn't look back after going to sealed boxes with smaller drivers. I used to be in the school of big drivers, big amps, big crossovers… Big sound but not necessarily crisp.

      • What about the other version - SVS SB-2000 - this or the SVS?

        • I'll probably be biased to the SVS but that's just cause I had one (or two to be exact).

          • @[Deactivated]:

            two to be exact

How are they connected - low-level (ie. RCA cables) or high-level (speaker cables)? Positioning?

            • @AlexF: Line level (low level). Receiver had a sub-out.

Had them in opposite corners of the room due to limitations of the room (2 doors in other opposite corners).

Acceptable outcome due to liberal use of room treatment.

              • @[Deactivated]: With single sub-out, you’d have to sit exactly between them, otherwise there would be different delays.

                • @AlexF: Not perceptible. Most important was making sure they fired in phase.

I gave up the two sub idea for different reasons though. Main one being, I don't need two. :P

                  • @[Deactivated]: Symmetry guarantees phase alignment. Plenty of technical arguments for multiple subwoofers, never mind just two. It’s not about volume.

                    • @AlexF: Unless out of phase from source/upstream itself.

Also, it wasn't a one man cinema so it would have been impossible to have every speaker at equi distance to everyone.

My stereo set up is perfect though.

  • I bought one of these from a white van

    it was ok
