    Philips SHP9500 are over-ear open back, the H2’s are on-ear and closed back.

    The only prices for the SHP9500 I can find are on Amazon AU & eBay @ $154 Delivered & $175 Delivered respectively.
    There was a deal on ozbargain for the SHP9500 @ $58 Delivered, but that’s back in 2015. Also someone in comments mentioned “a great deal for $57, but for $80 probably not so…”.

    Never heard a pair so just going by what I can see on the internet.
    Frequency response looks good, but seeing them go for such a cheap price in the past makes me think ‘over-hyped’.
