You must have the free-to-play base game first. Just click Play Game and it'll be added to your library. Then you can get the Accursed Army Pack for free. To keep them forever you must claim before May 31st.

I managed to grab the DLC without installing the base game, but I apparently already had other DLC for it on Steam.
You do not need to install the base game, just click Install/Play and don't install it, you just have to add it to your library.
Any way to do this without having the Steam client installed? If I click Play (with intention of only adding to library) it tells me I need the Steam client. Doesn't provide the option to add to library only.

I've been playing this game for about 9 months now. You can make it to Masters/Grandmasters with basic cards. For the most part it is about countering opponents cards more than the 'rarity' of the cards.

It is basically Clash Royale if you remember that mobile game but now on PC.
Somewhat like Castle Fight/Nexus Wars/Desert Strike for the older crowd :)

Best get this from Microsoft. Add to library and install later.
Problem with Steam is you have to install the free to play base game to add the free DLC the content. Doesn't seem to be a way to add free to play games or DLC content to your library and install them later on.
