    Odd question but is it a gin? It was written up in the paper on the weekend but just called a "Spirit". Needless to say it's now $67.15 which is quite tempting.

        Ah okay cheers… The vegemite bottle was written up in the paper this weekend. Did have a look after that but didn't realise they did anything other than gin.

          @henrus: I'd give their gin a try. Especially for this price. I've never seen it on sale before and isn't much cheaper when going through duty free! I'd also go the distillery strength one - may as well, right :)

      I haven't done any research but generally gin=spirit+botanicals

      If they don't do botanicals in it, they wouldn't be able to call it a gin, therefore it's spirit+vegemite=unnamed mess

    I bought a bottle a bit over a week ago, and cracked it on the weekend. I was pretty excited, but it was a bit of a let down. You could taste the vegemite in the spirit when it was on it's own, but if you put it in anything else (I tried the Gibson martini from their website and also just in coke) you couldn't really taste the mite. Probably the biggest issue though was it smelt like cheap vodka, and I thought the spirit itself also tasted cheap. I was super excited for an umami laden drink, but it was a let down for me. Plenty of others may like it though.

  Throwing an error when I try to use it. Anyone else?

  EDIT: It worked when I sued IE. Chrome was getting a 403 error. Might have been an extension that was blocking it.
