  Anybody know about the sourcing of the duck feathers? Wouldn't buy without knowing the ethics of the sourcing.

    Really? I never even considered it. I assumed just about all the feathers are a by-product of the meat industry for most of this. Interested now

  I bought a cheap duck feather down quilt like this one earlier this year on ebay with 20% off code, for guest uses.
  The quilt package doesn't say where the product of origin is.
  And it really really smells. Smells like you are sleeping in a duck farm with 100 ducks around you…
  I washed it 4 times and leave it under the sun for 2 weeks
  Probably 80% of the smell has gone, It's alright if I put it in a quilt cover, but I am not going to use it…
  Would not purchase it again…

    Yeah, I really loved my comfy warm cheap duck down quilt,
    until I noticed a really bad smell suddenly
    and realised that my cat loved the duck down warmth and smell too,
    and peed a few times over it.
    Much to my horror.
    You really can not get that smell of cat urine out of a feather quilt.
