Damn… the only Coles/Shell where I live is on the highway and it’s routinely 20 to 30¢/l more expensive than the places off the main drag.

I get this offer almost every week but never use it as we only have a diesel and it excludes diesel! They'd see from my purchase history that I haven't bought petrol in around 5 years!
Once in the past year they sent me a discount on "premium" diesel, which I used (mainly with the hopes they might target a few more diesel deals) but the discount made it around the same price as normal diesel and I have no idea why it's considered "premium" — I didn't notice any performance improvements or better fuel economy!
The 2 options are exactly the same. 2000 points is $10, so each point is worth half a cent.
Exactly the same as the ones that offer dollars off a shop, the points are usually the better option as it leaves you open to either transfer into flybuys credit that can be used a variety of places, or transfer to velocity.
what a huge saving:
10c flybuys + 5c for cats + 8 cents for shell= 23c off/L
+10c off buying 2 toilet papers in store +4c off fuel docket = 37c/L discount

petrol going up again
Haven't been targeted in quite a while now. Whenever they ran those deals, I'd consistently buy 150L of fuel from them. Once the promos dried up, so did my purchases with them.
Can’t see anywhere Gold Coast where this beats a 7 11..
