  • Plus postage

  • the shipping cost is killing this good deal!

  • good price but when you include postage it works about better to go down to msy etc and spend an extra dollar….

  • why not include postage in the title?

  • +11

    we just added free shipping.

    • I'll + for that. Nice work rep.

    • nice, going to order some

  • For those interested, just purchased 4 of these at ARC for $90 each. The convenience of a B&M store if there is a fault is worth $6 per IMHO.

Good on the rep for adding free shipping though.

    • for hard drives you normally deal directly with the manufacturer

      • +1

I haven't had that experience. Had a Seagate last week with a fault and ARC took it back and sent it for repair for me.

        • +1

Yeah…where do you think they sent it lol….i doubt they would have given you a new one on the spot.

  • sata3 2tb hdd $76
come on rep, beat their price

    • Yeh… But it's a WD. I personally prefer the Samsungs. :P

Where's jv to pick on your for not comparing apples to apples?!?

    • $76 is before shipping.

  • and thats 6GB/s

    • Try 6Gb, not 6GB - big difference :)

    • +2

And you think that a spinning disk will max out SATA II?

  • I second that Samsung over WD sentiment. I'm 7 for 7 dead WDs in a row now - 100% failure rate for me, have even more Samsungs and they haven't failed yet which is surprising (some are rather old, 400gig is the oldest). My WD failures include Raptors, green, black, the works… These F4EG's had that initial firmware issue (anything post November 2010 is fine, pre November can be flashed) but the drives are quick, quiet and cool, I really like them.

    • I wonder if Samsung name will survive the Seagate buyout.

  • Would like to buy, but payment screen is blank.
Have tried this in chrome, firefox & IE.
cbf 2 try safari & opera

  • A direct link to the product would be nice too…I cant seem to find it on their website.

    • It is a direct link.. Looks like they've removed it.

  • Also, is this a 5400rpm drive or 7200?

    • +1

It's a green drive, so technically they don't reveal the speed, but it's between 5200-6000RPM from memory. ;)

    • Newegg spec page says it's a 5400rpm drive

  • Where's it gone?
