It's a nonstandard 32:9 ultrawide aspect ratio resolution. It's neither 4K ( 3840 x 2160 ) nor 1440p ( 2560 x 1440 ).

  yes because unlike tv's, curved makes sense for large widescreen monitors.

About the same as having two 27" 16:9 monitors next to each other.

1080p is okay for a 27" monitor so it should be okay for this. Although I would probably want better if I was spending the best part of a grand.
