[Issues with Seller] Roborock S50 Smart Robot Vacuum Cleaner 2nd Generation (Import from HK) $302.50 Delivered @ honrdss eBay

Moved to Forum: Original Link

Seems like a good price, maybe too good of a price?

The code PAPPY doesn't work for me but seller indicates it should.

Please note that this is an international seller, a 10 percent GST charge applies in checkout (not visible in listing) and coupon codes do not work for this item (The image of the product has been taken from another ebay seller, Gearbite)

Purchase at own risk.

Mod: Similar to previous deal. Seller is unlikely to ship item, or may be selling counterfeit items as suspected with their Scooter deal. Moved to forums and banned seller from future deal posts for safety.

Wrong photo? Maybe you will only receive gen1

    • +1

Seller also has Gen1 for sale at $209 delivered

  • +2

    Seller looks dodgy.

    • I'd keep away than try my luck even with PayPal.

  • +1

Hmm.. 2nd gen s50, coming up as $270 delivered for me.

    Way too good a price

    • +1

      Add GST.
      Check final total.

  • $275 for me….

    • +1

Yeah, it's showing $275 for me too. This is just weird.

    • +2

      check out price adds GST

      • True, forgot about GST now :/

      • Ah! That makes sense.

Similar to this deal. I dont know if anyone actually received their order from the previous deal, but I reckon you'd have to go through a lot of hoops with eBay and PayPal if you purchase through this seller. Price too good to be true. Buy at your own risk.

    • Seconding this, I reckon its another scam.

    • I took the risk, and purchased it and haven’t received the product after months. I’ve contacted eBay. But because the estimation date was 16 June, so I have to wait till then to file a open case through eBay.

    • That sellers Feedback of mostly negative in the past month and the fact they no longer sell items is another indicator that it was a scam.

  • the discount may be funded by Chinese goverment, so they can spy on you by knowing your house layout , the data seems worthless but in the right hand they can analyse the data and share with Chinese business, their product will evolve and bankcrupt Australia local business ! what an advanced plan!

sound quite stupid I know, just speaking up for idiots, they have rights too

    • +1

I'll sell them all that information for some Chengdu street meat.

  • Wow. Great price. Thanks.

  • There were listings the other days where the xiaomi hand held vacuums were $36 delivered.

    Clearly an error. I'd avoid.

  • The seller only allows buyers to purchase 1 item every 10 days. That's odd.

    • +3

because they feel guity fooling you twice in 10 days

      • You mean they will not feel guilty to fool us after 10 days?

        • +1

if you buy again after 10 days, you don't deserve redemption

  • It seems the seller previously made a wonderful success and is trying to fish with an another seller account again. I think the guy got a bunch of fake ebay sellers who have good reviews by themselves. As you might already know, the two seller accounts selling Xiaomi vacuum 1st gen have been blocked after selling items.

  • Buyer beware. Red flag.

  • Pretty much all the feedback from users have scores less than 10. So I'd avoid.

  • So as one of the suckers who pulled the trigger… I can see the purchase in my ebay but it just says the price and item removed. Does anyone know if that means ebay has picked up on the issue and I’ll receive a refund in due course? Or what that means?

I actually contacted ebay and said I think it’s dodgy after reading this forum. I tried to explain why and showed them this and they said it’s all just speculation and if there’s an issue to contact them back… I guess I’ll be doing that

    • The seller is no longer a registered user: https://www.ebay.com.au/usr/honrdss

Hopefully that is enough for eBay to step in.

    • If you haven't already you should request a refund from ebay, i just submitted mine.

  • Already been refunded in full by eBay.

Did anyone get a tracking number? eBay said they removed the seller due to breaching policy as the seller had been supplying illegitimate tracking numbers.

    • The tracking number I was supplied shows -

      Awaiting collection at SKIPTON LPO
      SKIPTON VIC

Which is nice but I am in SA, I guess someone is getting something.

    • My tracking number says still in china, last updated 05/06.
I just submitted a refund request after checking ebay has removed the item listing and also the seller is "No longer a registered user"
i thought it might be too good to be true but was worth the gamble since ebay does the protection.

    • wow i just got refunded within 1 hour of requesting it from ebay.

  • I contacted ebay as the seller is no longer registered. Was refunded next day.
