  • Nice!

  • Nice, the 2012 book is listed for $17.99!

Just tried it on the iPhone - bit hard to read, would work nicely on an iPad though.

    • stock up while they're free until you get an iPad…

      • Already have an iPad, just not here at the moment heh :)

    Nice one cheers!

  • This is great offer. One point though, this offer is one strictly for the Ipad crowd. You can't buy it through your home pc (ie. through the Desktop iTunes Store).

A little more info on the iBookstore. (http://www.macworld.com/article/150896/2010/04/ibookstore.ht…)
"…However, the only way to access the iBookstore and buy e-books is through the app; while iTunes copies books you buy on the iPad, you can’t (yet) buy from iTunes itself…. "

    Still a good offer though.

    • Hi
while it might be easier to read on an iPad, it's not strictly for them.
I have just grabbed it using iBooks on my iPhone 4.
It's a nice book - and the price is right!

      Cheers

i might wait until the price drops further…

          it's free right now!! LOL

    • Sorry, just to clarify, you don't necessarily require an Ipad/Iphone to listen to this (the file is transferable ;.ePub most likely). However, you do need access to a Iphone/Ipad in order to purchase it.

  • What's the normal price for this ???

  • :( why aren't these available for android.

    • alot of people have i-things (counting all pads, phones and pods touch)

  • Strange how you can't buy books from the iBook store via iTunes. It would be good to have the option use the PC to pause/resume downloads, save battery power, use the PCs HD for big downloads (rather than transfer back) and use the PCs wired net connection (faster).

…and use iTunes to browse the book too…

        we can only dream

        Apple = Closed and restricted

This is why android is the future, specially if Amazon releases that Android quad core tablet later this year

Just wanting the same functionality for books that we currently have with buying/downloading apps/movies/music from the iTunes store ;-)

Now you can buy books directly from iTunes on PC.

Newcastle is listed as the 7th best city in the world to visit. Probably a typo so they have to sell it off cheap. :)

This book lost all cred for me when I saw that. Imagine coming all the way to Australia and then going to Newcastle. It's a bit like saying go the the UK and head to Brighton.

I just got back from a trip to Newcastle and besides Australia's largest KFC right behind my hotel, there wasn't anything that stood out.

        • I assume you mean store, or are you saying that the wings actually have a bit of meat on them? ;)

Newcastle is okay (not to dis Newcastle fans) but considering that alot of tourists want something thats different to your typical Syd-holiday Newcastle is a good option. Blue Mts have started becoming over-used. Newcastle is quiet compared to touristy Sydney… so I see the point why LP chose Newcastle in TOP 10.
